I just found http://www.primarygames.com/. I love it. I have spent some time reading over my IEP's and really need bare basics type games. I found lots of ABC games that are short, colorful and easy to do.
One of the benefits for me is that the site breaks down the educational games into curriculum groups: Math, Language Arts, Science and Social Studies. It then breaks these same games down further into grade levels.
I think there are two downfalls to this website. One is the amount of advertising. I fear that the ads may distract my students and make for finishing a game impossible. I also feel that some of the games are not appropriate for the kids I will be teaching. I will need to carefully monitor my students.
